AVTRAX began in a hangar in the East of England, with a stack of VHS tapes labelled in fading marker: B747-400 · WING FLEX TEST · 11.94.

For three decades, certification footage and flight-test broadcasts were committed to magnetic tape — colour-graded by accident, timestamped in glowing analog numerals, scarred with dropouts and tracking lines. Then they were filed away. Forgotten.

We pull them off the shelf. We watch the wing flex over Everett at 03:47 UTC. We study the cockpit CRT glow on a crosswind landing into KEGE. We reissue what we see — not as costume, but as garments built for the next archive.

Every garment carries a frame number. Every drop carries a tape ID. Wear them stitched to the date the aircraft was rolled out, the runway it was certified on, the year the tape was recorded over.
